It’s newly renovated, modern interior yet the original skeleton of the property remains, such as the beautiful wooden beams. The lounge, and dining area are social, and it was lovely to meet other guests. I stayed in the dorm for a week, and it’s multi gender but that’s okay. The cubbies are all very comfortable, spacious enough for me as I’m only 5’2. Mattress, pillow and duvet are so warm and cozy. There’s even a mini tv in each space! The amenities are excellent, toiletries are all provided, I was able to do some laundry as well, after a week of snowboarding. The staff are all exceptional, so kind, so caring, respectful and happy demeanour. What a thriving place to be. The staff sometimes cooked me dinners when I came back late, and were happy to hang out with their guests. You won’t regret staying here!

I loved how nice the house was and the cute decor throughout the house. The room was small, but there was tons of storage! A large closet to fit both of our luggage divided into to areas, so we could each have our own space. There are extra blankets in there too. There is a spacious open closet to put the table and folding chairs at night. The room was really cute and nice! The common spaces were super comfortable with a cozy living room set up and kitchen. We had our own shelf in the refrigerator. I believe there are just three rooms in the house, which makes it feel like a bed and breakfast. The shower rooms are clean. Loved the laundry and dryer option. The hosts are very nice and thorough during the check in to make sure you understand the space and how everything works. Loved the location! Perfectly nestled between the castle and the art museum. Very short walk to the market shopping area.

Situé à Matsumoto, l’établissement Nawate Guesthouse comprend un salon commun, une terrasse, un restaurant et un bar. Le séjour s'est très bien passé, la personne qui nous a accueilli était très gentille et se débrouillait très bien en anglais. Le lit était confortable et l'ensemble du logement propre. Les photos ne me donnaient pas plus envie mais une fois sur place on rentre dans une bonne atmosphere.

Nous y sommes allés en famille pour deux nuits et ce fût vraiment une expérience unique. Bien que ce soit une guesthouse on se sentait vraiment comme à la maison. Les hôtes ont été très accueillants, faisant beaucoup d’efforts pour utiliser les outils de traduction. Nous avons eu des échanges très intéressants et ils ont été très généreux, nous offrant même des fraises de leur jardin. Nos folles ont adoré. Les lits futons sont confortables et la cuisine très bien équipée. Nous avons adoré notre séjour, un très beau moment de notre voyage!

L’établissement Shioriya se trouve à Nagano, à respectivement 7,6 km et 10 km de ces lieux d’intérêt : Gare de Nagano et Zenkō-ji. The Hosts were superb. The breakfast meals were wonderful. They sent us back to the USA with some of their favorite treats and a gift for our young daughters. She taught us to make an origami crane. It was easy to find off the bus line from Nagano station and they gave us excellent tour recommendations when we decided to skip skiing due to lack of fresh snow.
