They give you a little bag to welcome you with sweets and treats. Also the room with the futon beds is also a great way to start your trip in Japan. You sleep on a tamati mat too. This property is located a short distance from attractions such as Kamejimashogakko Memorial Park, Sumida Cultural Museum, and Tobu Museum. Ushijima Shrine is 1.4 km from the guest house. The train station and convenience stores are somewhat near our accommodation. Kazuki-san is very responsive to messages and gave us a guidebook on places he recommended. He also gave us toiletries and other essentials we needed for our stay. The Tokyo Skytree and Skytree Town are also close, and they are great tourist attractions.

The hosts are a very lovely elderly couple who hosted us with great warmth and hospitality. We felt so at home, even though if we communicated via the Google Translator (this is totally viable)! The room is very cozy and has a magnificent view on the Tama River down below. We definitely recommend to take the breakfast option: it is a traditional Japanese breakfast prepared by the hosts, it was very delicious. They have two cute cats, which visit while you eat. We regret staying only for two days!
