We’ve enjoyed it so much that it was very hard for us to leave again. Joshua is a very friendly host who helps you out with everything you need. The room is very spacious, clean and has everything you need, including a fan and mosquito net. It’s in an old Swahili-house where you can literally feel the long history of Lamu, it’s houses and it’s residents. You can use a well equipped kitchen and the (sea) view from the roof terrace is just stunning. Siwa, the oldest tourism guide in town, showed us around and we could profit from his experience and contacts all around town. If we ever have the opportunity, we will definitely come back.
