Savets homestay is outside of the main city of Battembang. It is a very beautiful property and I felt like I was in the jungle. The bed was comfortable and the room was cozy. His friend drove me around for a half day tour and then we met up later with some other guests. It was a very memorable experience. If you have the chance take it. Also the breakfast was very delicious. Thanks Savet!

We had a great stay with the very friendly family and also a great Tuktuk tour with many explanations. Our room was much larger than 11 qm which is contained in booking.com.

After reading the poor reviews for the hotels, hostels and guest houses in Battambang, we decided to stay at this homestay. A very good decision! This homestay is spotlessly clean, and we enjoyed the little special features throughout this property. The owners are very friendly and very attentive to their guest's every need; always checking if we are comfortable and satisfied. The group of small, cute children really gave this delightful accomodation a fun, family atmosphere. Our hosts gave us a walking tour of their village, and even their bird's nest facility. Our hosts told us many things about the local area, and even their own lives. We stayed in the room with the air conditioning! Very comfortable and clean! A hot shower is available. We loved the welcoming fruit and towel sculptures in all the rooms! Motorcycle rental is available for only $8 per day! I wish we could have stayed longer! When departing, our hosts booked our bus tickets for us, and even gave us a ride to the bus station. This amazing homestay is my place to stay every time I am in Battambang!

The family is very friendly and helpful. They’ve really given me an accurate insight in rural Cambodian life and i can’t be more grateful. Do realise that you will get the actual athentic experience, so don’t expect airconditioned hotelrooms. Immerse in the experience and you will be just as delighted as I was!

Very nice host, he cooked for us delicious breakfast, helped with finding a local guide to visit the city. The place is very quiet, in the great outdoors.

Our stay at Lazy Mango Homestay was our favourite in South East Asia. Once you step over the threshold into the property you are welcomed with open arms and a cup of tea. We instantly felt part of the family. Breakfast every morning was simple but incredibly tasty and talking with the family immediately put us in a great mood each time. Additionally, we did a cooking class at the homestay, which really gave an insight into home cooking in Cambodia. And the flavours were amazing! You can rent bicycles and do your own laundry in the old fashioned way. Harry also offers to do a tuktuk tour of the city and surroundings which was a great experience as well. Harry is very knowledgeable and speaks English very well. If you want a home away from home, this is the place!

This is an amazing small family property. Staff is very helpful, kind and friendly, they gave me lots of tourist info. Location is great, in the city centre, near by market, but located in a small street , so is calm and silent. My room was spacious, very clean and fully furnished even for cooking. Everything was perfect: cleanliness , high speed WIFI, AC, comfortable big bed, beautiful hidden terrace in front of the room, they also provide cooking courses in next hotel restaurant. and delicious banana dessert in front of the house.

This is the best place to stay if you want to experience Battambang. Room was huge, bed was comfy, everything clean, nice terrace and common area, very nice breakfast and lunch options, helpful and very friendly stuff - everything was perfect. The Homestay provides laundry service, helps with booking tickets and hires THE BEST tuk tuk drivers that will take you to unforgettable places for small $. I’m forever grateful that I was able to spend my time here and get to know Mister Yo. Without him we would miss so much of Battambang. I highly recommend to stay here - it is worth every penny.
