Super friendly host who even treated us to a real Sri Lankan breakfast. Definitely recommend!

The guest house features family rooms. I booked this property based on a review written by a family similar to ours. And the open air bathroom. We are a family of 4 with a 5 yr old girl and 2 year old boy. We rented the large family suite and it couldn’t have been more perfect. Less then 5 mins from the beach, large comfortable double beds with mosquito nets, a shared kitchenette, large comfortable bathroom with hot water and AC. The owners were such lovely accommodating people. The best part was the location. Hiritekiya is an Instagramy digital nomady hotspot, and Jungle Escape is located in the less developed part of the beach. So we were close to everything but in a more tranquil environment.

It is managed by the super kind Che who was always very attentive to help us organize a few things around the area. What we particularly loved about the hotel (apart from the amazing spacious rooms and the delicious (vegetarian) food) was that it is Che’s family home and has such a friendly and calming vibe :) it’s only a short walk to local restaurants and bars and Madiha’s main beach is also only a few minutes away. Host was really amazing, so helpful and at the end of our stay he even drove us to the bus stop to make sure that we get to the right bus. The place itself is quite simple, comfortable bed, simple bathroom with warm water, we had everything that we needed, including really nice tarace. I would definitely come back.

There is a/c and refrigerator, and if you like to get iron they will provide you. There also a water tank you can fill up your water for free. The plus thing you can find in this place is the small garden you can chill or do some yoga. Ramesh was delighted and helpful every time I needed him. Definitely I recommend this place and will come back again.
