Upon arrival, the receptionist, Walid, kindly offered us a choice between two rooms. The rooms were spotless, clearly newly renovated, with a comfortable bed and plenty of space. The rooftop terrace was a lovely place to relax, and the breakfast was generous and delicious. Amal at the reception was incredibly helpful in finding us the best way to travel from Chefchaouen to Rabat (note: when we were there, only one bus per day ran at 7 AM, but an alternative is taking a grand taxi to Tangier and then the TGV, which took us just 3.5 hours). We would have happily stayed longer—this is a truly comfortable, laid-back place, perfect for enjoying a coffee on the terrace with stunning views of the city. Even a simple dinner felt romantic thanks to the ambiance they created, with soft music and a peaceful setting that made the evening feel magical. As someone who loves nature and hiking, I truly appreciated the location — yes, it’s up in the mountains, but that’s what makes it so special. If you’re a nature lover looking for serenity, this is the perfect escape.
