This was the most remote village of our trip, right in the heart of the Atlas, and it was an unforgettable experience. The hotel is centrally located in the village, making it easy to explore the surroundings. The room was simple and rural, but very comfortable—with a surprisingly good bed. We also had one of the best tagines of our entire trip here! Breakfast was delicious as well. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an authentic and peaceful escape.

Abends wurde der Ofen angemacht, was im kalten Januar gut war. In den komfortablen Betten habe ich geschlafen wie ein Baby! Die Nacht wahr herrlich ruhig. Alles war sauber, es gab heißes Wasser und eine Klimaanlage zum heizen. Wir haben die Klimaanlage aber nicht angemacht, weil es im Zimmer ausreichend warm war. Die vegetarische Tajine abends war köstlich und das Frühstück war ausreichend mit Brot, Marmelade, Honig, Ei, Frischkäse und sogar Nutella!

The hosts (Omar and Hassan) were absolutely lovely, so caring and accommodating. The rooms were beautiful, spacious, and spotless. We had both breakfast and dinner, and everything was delicious, clearly prepared and served with love. The hotel is perfectly located right by the dunes , just a short walk through palm trees and you’re there. We’re so pleased our trip to faraway Merzouga was perfect, and staying here truly made the whole experience feel wholesome and complete. Hopefully we can come back one day!
