Fantastic stay at Brahim and Nadia's place. They are very passionate about sharing and preserving the unique heritage of the Skoura palm grove. Nadia has a background in tourism and English studies, and Brahim is pursuing doctoral studies in political science focussed on socio-cultural changes in the Skoura palm grove. I would recommend staying more than one night, and let Brahim organize a guided walk through the beautiful surroundings, or even a cozy picnic under the palm trees. He will gladly share stories about traditional irrigation practices, challenges to ancestral cooperative structures, as well as information on the ecosystem of the palm grove. Overall a wonderful immersive experience, that is both comfortable and extremely local! I wish Nadia and Brahim all the best in their project, and hope to be able to visit them again.

The food was exceptional also possibly some of the best I had in morocco. The staff were amazing, especially Omar. They were very patient with my poor french skills as they did not speak English well. However, it was no problem as everyone was so welcoming and friendly! The garden and property were so beautiful. One of the best places I stayed in morocco and would have stayed longer if i didn't have a schedule. Definitely stay here if you are in Zagora!

Younes is very friendly and helpful, he helped us to carry the luggage and gave us a wonderful guided tour in the village and in the mountains, that was truly magical! Our room is on the beautiful terrace, very clean and comfortable! The house is well designed and decorated, all the little details are very thoughtful and convenient. We had the best toilet and shower and the largest bed during our trip in Morocco! The dinner and breakfast prepared by the lady of the house was very tasty 😋 We also love the fireplace in the dining area! Would recommend 100%!

Good location - very close to the start of the hiking trail to the gorge (you can walk about 5km through the palm oasis to get to the gorge).
