We had a wonderful stay at Seladah Homestay. The property consists of two combined houses, making it quite spacious with a total of eight rooms (two rooms downstairs and the rest upstairs). It features an RFID door lock system and an automatic gate with a remote, so there’s no need to use a traditional key. We arrived late at night, but self-check-in was convenient, allowing us to settle in without waiting for the owner. The homestay also offers high-speed Wi-Fi, estimated at around 500 Mbps. Since all guests live under the same roof, you’ll have the opportunity to meet your housemates. Our rooms, located upstairs, were designed for two people and came with private bathrooms, which was very convenient. The living room has TVs available for use, and a washing machine is beneath the staircase. The parking area accommodates about three cars inside the compound and two additional cars outside. The owner was also very responsive to my inquiries. Thank you very much for a great experience! I will definitely return for my next stay. :)

The host is just from another world. I arrived late (around 22h30) and even though he likes to wake up at 4h30, we kept talking for about half an hour. Then, he goes: "do you want me to show you around?" >> he went on giving me a guided kuching tour in his car. He even wanted to buy me a drink but no shops were open at midnight. Besides this, he would leave traditional sweets for breakfast every day. Legend!!

Located in Damai, Nanga Damai Homestay features a garden and terrace. Among the various facilities of this property are a shared lounge and a bar. We absolutely LOVED our stay at Nanga Damai!! It is the perfect spot to explore Taman Nagara Santubong National Park, the Pamai Rainforest, and Bako National Park! Hosts Emily and Willis are wonderful — great recommendations, fun conversation, and free rides in the local area! The home stay itself is beautiful with birds and monkeys visible from the pool! Delicious free breakfast included and super cheap laundry services. Such a wonderful place… we can’t wait to return!!

Das Mulu Village in Mulu bietet Unterkünfte mit einer Terrasse. Die Privatunterkunft bietet eine Terrasse. Den Nationalpark Mulu erreichen Sie nach 2,4 km. James und Brenda sind sehr herzliche Gastgeber und geben sich viel Mühe, damit man sich wohl fühlt. Wir konnten einige Touren direkt bei Brenda buchen, da sie auch als Guide im Nationalpark arbeitet. Sie kennt sich sehr gut aus und weiss auch genau, wie sie die ganzen Infos interessant rüberbringen kann. James hat uns jeweils zum Park oder Flughafen gefahren bzw. uns abgeholt, da es ein etwa 30-minütiger Fussweg wäre. Direkt neben Mulu Village hat es ein Restaurant mit leckerem Essen.

Die Unterkunft Mulu Tribal Homestay, die in Gunung Mulu Nationalpark, 1,4 km von Nationalpark Gunung Mulu entfernt gelegen ist, bietet Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten mit Zugang zu einem Garten. The homestay is conveniently located across the road from the airport. You are not bothered with aircraft noise, as there are only 4 flights a day, and no flights at night. The host provides lovely breakfast and on request also lunch (tip) and dinner. The hosts are very flexible.and will try to fulfil any request if possible. The park is only 15 minutes away by foot, however the host can provide transportation services to and from the park entrance. Don't worry if you don't have any cellular reception, it is a small village. Somebody will call Denny when you want to return to the homestay. We had some nice talks with Denny, which gave some extra insights how the kampung works and why the things are the way they are. Our stay has been really wonderful.
