I loved to stay in this place, this special family, the area itself is amazing, they even guide me around the National park, and the foooood, I'm definitely going to stay again when I'm back in Nepal.

Bardiya is an amazing place, and this homestay is the best place from which to discover it. The whole family welcomed us with open arms from the very first moment. Khali is a lovely woman, she took such good care of us, and cooks the best Dal Bhat I’ve ever had. Nanu is a great host, passionate about wildlife and nature, and it’s incredible to venture into the jungle with him and discover its wild animals together. They helped us with everything we needed, made sure to vary the meals (all of them excellent), and we even cooked momos together. We truly hope to come back one day, and to see you all again! Everything was perfect ! First the staff is amazingly friendly and we would like to thank you again Sonja, Buddhi and Manmohan. The cleaning lady and the rest of the staff were also very nice and helping. The room itself looks better than the pictures and was very confortable. Since they provide free filtered water, meals and card payements it is not a problem to be a little bit away from the village. If you still need to go there it is a 20-25 min walking distance. The big bonus of the stay is the fire place which encourage all guests to talk and share their adventure ! The meals were very good with reasonable prices and large choice. Finnaly, the hosts organised 3 days of safari (both jeep and walking) in Bardia and it was truly thé best experience of our lives (not kidding) for very reasonable prices (even for quite low backpackers budgets like us). We want to give a last special thanks to Manmohan which was our incredible guide for this adventure. Thank you again for being so nice and helpful with us. We really hope that we will come back one day 😊

Hum and his family were very hospitable and helpful. They have a peaceful beautiful garden from which they take ingredients to cook incredible meals everyday. They make a fire in the mornings and nights in the common areas.
