The accommodation features a shared kitchen, private check-in and check-out and currency exchange for guests. This is an incredible place to stay! I have been fortunate to travel to many places over the years and this is one of the most genuine experiences I have had. It is based in a local area, a lot more calm than busy Thamel and gives you more insight into how local people in Kathmandu live. You can walk into Thamel or can get a taxi/bike easily with the inDrive app. The rooms are comfortable, there is very good wifi and there is an incredible view from the rooftop. Nir and his family will really look after you, but at the same time give you as much space as you need to do your own thing. They will make it feel like your home where you can relax and whatever you do, try their meals in their kitchen…..you will not regret it! I thoroughly recommend a stay at peace homestay.

Among the facilities of this property are a restaurant, a 24-hour front desk and luggage storage space, along with free WiFi throughout the property. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a terrace. Beautiful and clean homestay. Great view of Namabuddha monastery. The host family was incredible helpful and kind, their food was amazing. We are in Kathmandu now wishing that we stayed longer

I stayed in Nirvana Kuti following the recommendation of Linda, a wonderful woman that I met in Delhi airport. She was indeed accurate: Nirvana Kuti is such a beautiful accomodation, comfortable, clean and pretty new. It was easy to feel home. Besides the comfort of the room, with a big, warm bed, with views to the temple just in front of the house, it is located just a few steps from Durbar square, in a very calm street. I slept extremely well and woke up to the beautiful views. Life is magical and I met Bobby, the owner of Nirvana Kuti, even before my stay. He kindly offered me a ride to Nirvana Kuti, and he made it very easy for me to feel home. Even more, he also allowed me to stay a bit longer because my bus was leaving in the evening. I appreciate Bobby's kindness and the beautiful taste in which the house is built. It is both comfortable and stylish, and the location couldn't be better. Thank you Bobby for making of my last days in Kathmandu (for this time) a beautiful experience and see you next time ♡

With city views, Laxmi Homestay with main square view is situated in Bhaktapur and has a restaurant and room service. The property has quiet street views and is 200 metres from Bhaktapur Durbar Square and 12 km from Patan Durbar Square. The accommodation features airport transfers, while a bicycle rental service is also available. By far the highlight of my travels, to say the host, Navin, goes above and beyond for his guests is an understatement. Great for solo travellers, we visited during Nepali new year and Navin showed all the guests around the city, brought us to his family feasts and was above all else great company to be around, you have to stay here when visiting Bhaktapur!

Guests can make use of the sun terrace or the outdoor fireplace, or enjoy views of the mountain and lake. Clean room with super nice view! I saw the sunrise just from my room and the balcony! Friendly family and host! They cooked delicious local food! I felt like home with warm welcome from them and can feel the hospitality from them.

It is set 20 km from Pashupatinath and offers bicycle parking. Free private parking is available and the homestay also provides car hire for guests who want to explore the surrounding area. This place far exceeded our expectations!Upon arrival we were offered tea and welcomed with genuine warmth. The views from the terrace look out onto a forest and below that Katmandhu sprawls out into the distance. Sunsets here are gorgeous! It was peaceful, close to nature with a waterfall and many walks right outside the homestay. The family that run it are amazing. Nothing is ever a problem and they go over and above to help. The food was delicious and prepared with care. Keshab( the owner) is very observant and attentive to your needs. He tailored all of our meals to our liking, without being asked. We booked into the tree house and it was simple but comfortable and spacious. We spent the mornings doing yoga on our private deck looking into the forest and my partner was able to study at the desk in our room with all of the windows open and a gorgeous fresh breeze blowing in. It was a very welcome respite from the noisy, busy and pollutes Katmandhu. We will certainly be back! We booked for one night and just kept extending!

New paint and decorations making the space more warm and uplifting. Still the best in its class in Swayambu.

Shine Homestay Famille Francophone - Shine Home and Apartment, a property with a shared lounge, is situated in Kathmandu, 2.5 km from Swayambhu, 2.9 km from Kathmandu Durbar Square, as well as 3.6 km from Swayambhunath Temple. The property has city and quiet street views, and is 2.5 km from Hanuman Dhoka. There is a sun terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. We came to Kathmandu by night bus and checking in early in the morning was not an issue at all. Very nice and helpful family. We got the room on the rooftop which is very beautiful. The bathroom seemed pretty new.
