Our host worked hard to connect with us, and to make our stay a good one. He had to balance caring for each of the people staying there. And, of course, he has his own family he must not ignore. The breakfasts he makes for us are varied, healthy, simple, but tasty. The location was perfect. We lived in a real neighborhood, which meant the dogs barked, there were sometimes odd neighbor noises, construction here and there, but everything eventually quieted down at night. I didn't fit into the house very well. I am tall and getting older, and I think it's an environment that works for the young and slightly more compact person. But, I still loved it just the same. I'd certainly stay there again if in Patan.

Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a terrace. The best homestay I've ever stayed in.. Prem and his family are the greatest people I've met in Nepal ( and I mean it!!). You will have an opportunity to stay with many locals and share about their culture. A lot of cute kids were always playing around, so the place was really lively. The food was excellent and the room & bathroom were sparkling clean! The village of Namobuddha is very authentic and the scenery stunning. If you're lucky enough, you will also have the opportunity to meet Ian who lives there and runs a charity association to provide water pipelines for remote villages. Trust me, go there ...that's the kind of place you will never forget.

A fantastic place in peaceful surroundings. So happy I stayed here instead of nagarkot center. Super easy to get around this area with local busses. The family that runs the place are very nice and easy to deal with. Fantastic view over Kathmandu valley from their restaurant.
