Despite access issues following the cyclone, we made it to the house. Our host arranged an emergency food parcel as everything local was closed. Fantastic service. Couldn't be better.

We absolutely loved our stay here and had a truly wonderful time! The room and bathroom are beautiful and very cozy, just like the rest of the house. The area is great as well—the beach is less than a 15-minute walk away and shops are also within easy walking distance. Auckland CBD is reachable with a bus ride in under 30 minutes. Sheree is the best host imaginable: incredibly kind, warm, and she really made our stay extra special. We extended our stay twice for a reason—we simply enjoyed it here so much. Highly recommended!

The place is very easy to find on Waze or G. Maps & there is a Superette & Cafe 200m up the road. The amenities were exceptionally clean, with everything needed. As its winter & extremely cold here, (I'm from Brisbane), the Aircon worked great. Completely separate entrance from the residence, which included separate bathroom & walk in wardrobe. It's very quiet & peaceful. I was meant to leave @ 4am but slept till nearly 6am as the bed is soooo comfortable!! 10/10 for sure!!
