The only sounds in this quiet neighborhood were the birds tui tui and blackbird on the early morning hours. The guest house has private entrance. Although the location was out of town (approximately 10 minutes), for us this was not a problem as we had a vehicle & it was in a very peaceful setting. The bed was extremely comfortable & was a king bed - room very clean & well set out. Our hosts were very accommodating & very friendly.

It was just wonderful. I told my husband, cancel the rest of our roadtrip around the North Island, let’s just stay here. Highly recommend!
