Helen is a wonderful, welcoming host. The house is in a good location near Arthur's Pass and makes a great stop if you're driving cross country. We opted to include the dinner and breakfast and both were delicious. The common area and bathroom is shared with another room/visitors and we were lucky to have very enjoyable company so it felt like reliving the old hostel days as an adult 😀

Perfect location!! Close to the bus stop and in front of the beach. Very clean and comfortable room to stay. 100% recommended!! We enjoyed our stay with the kind hosts and the lovely dog. In fact, I am missing their cute dog, Bruce.
