Everything was perfect. Our arrival time was past midnight and the request for late check in was handled with such a great manner. Complimentary Madeira cake and wine was also a great addition and so appreciated.Location , clearness, breakfast was excellent and vegetarian/ vegan friendly ❤️

A beautiful place with a very nice garden and freezing pool :) easy to relax sitting in the chair or lying in the hammock, since it is further from the main road, it is also quiet Lovely staff, we talked mostly with Rubina (?) always with a smile, although she was probably quite busy Tasty breakfast Very nice room with amazing view of the surrounding mountains (1st floor), the whole house is very nice, bright and maintained Welcome drink (Madeira wine) and a tasty cake (forgot to ask for the name, it was not pastel nata) Would definitely come back someday!

I was absolutely thrilled with the room – it had a direct view of the sea, which was just amazing. There were so many restaurants nearby, we were really spoiled for choice. Pedro was incredibly friendly and always gave us great tips on where to eat and what sights to see in the area.

From the warm welcome we received on arrival to the helpful recommendations on local places to eat and explore – everything was outstanding. Alan, the host, was incredibly kind and accommodating. He let us use his personal kitchen equipment and was always available to help and support us when needed. We especially appreciated the friendly conversations and the overall relaxing, positive atmosphere in the house. It felt like being among friends. We absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and welcoming retreat.

My partner and I absolutely loved our stay in this property because of all the attention to detail that the host put towards the furnishing and decoration of the apartment, which is a rarity. Some places are furnished expensively but in an impersonal and cold style, but this one is truly someone's home, with great character, that the host is sharing with you.
