The room was clean, away from the busy streets, we loved to see monkeys in the morning from our window. Nice beach 5min away, nice massage at the end of street, easy to reach the pier for day trips.

The most important is the warm welcome I had from the owner and his wife! I stayed for one month and felt very safe, for a solo female traveller it's priceless, the owner genuinely helped me to get a very good motorbike and brought me a dressing for my clothes, they always answered my requests very quickly, it really felt like home. The rooms are very clean, the kitchen is decent, I would stay more if I could and if I come back to Weligama, I'll stay here for sure. Thank you for everything and for the very delicious breakfast you made for my last day.

There are great parties 2-3 minutes walk from the hostel at beach The 10 bed dorms has 2 showers and bathrooms so there were never a queue, and even tho it was 10 beds, it was very quiet and I felt very comfortable as a solo female traveler who usually prefer only female dorms The staff were really sweet and helpful And the terrace at the entrance is the nicest place to chill. I wish I could stay there more time!
