So tastefully and thoughtfully designed--the space is so beautiful, the beds so comfy, and the details like the record player and of course landlord cat are perfect. The location is also fantastic, within walking distance of quite a few MRT stations and in a very walkable area. Would happily stay again

We love the location which is opposite the main station. Lucca, the front desk was very helpful and ensured that the pick up taxi was waiting at the right spot for us. This level of service blew us away. We are so grateful for all his help.

The place is peaceful, homely and clean. Been there twice and all the time I’m there I meet great stuff and people. I’m so grateful because I usually meet genuine people who are usually there because of traveling. And I’m there mostly for Marathons.

This 3-star guest house offers a lift and a shared lounge. The guest house has family rooms as well as facilities for disabled guests. I am very satisfied with the room here. The staff at the counter are also friendly. I like the design style of the environment here. Although the space is a bit small, it is normal for real estate in Taiwan. The price is very reasonable. This time I took my children on a long trip and chose not to stay in the city center. The main reason is that it is too noisy. There is also a night market nearby. I will stay here again next time if I have the chance. There are many good places for breakfast and lunch outside the hotel. The key point is that you don’t need to squeeze with people

The guest house features family rooms. everything was available and convenient to use (kitchen, washing mashine) and room contained everything as described, laoban was very friendly and upon moving in made for me a friendly excursion to show nearby shops and cafees

Set in Taipei, 600 metres from Ningxia Night Market, 住吉 Sumiyoshi 20-1 offers air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and express check-in and check-out. The property is around 1.5 km from MRT Ximen Station, 1.7 km from The Red House and 2.6 km from Bopiliao Old Street. The guest house features family rooms. We stayed in several hotels in Taipei and honestly this is the best one we stayed at and the cheapest. It is really good value for what you get. The reason why is not heavily reviewed is due to the fact that you HAVE TO have line in order to check in (which was no problem for us as we had a Taiwanese SIM card with data and LINE), but I can understand how the system can be overwhelming for foreigners that don’t even know what line is and have no data on their mobile when reaching the hotel. My suggestion is that the wifi passcode is being shared upfront so that people can communicate with the staff and not dependent on their own data plans.
