I fell sick shortly before we arrived so the trip to Chau Doc itself was not as imagined but both women took such great care of me, supplying me with tea, fruits, soup and crackers and everything else I needed. We could without any problems extend our stay on a short notice and Vi was even kind enough to call the bus agency and change our departure. I can strongly recommend this lovely homestay!

It turns out that the third bedroom was in the attic with only a little opening for a window. The A/C was very noisy and only worked intermittently. On top of it all, the bathroom was located on the ROOF and it can only be reached by walking across the roof and out in the rain! Finally the property is located on a Main Street where large trucks pass through at all hours of day and night.
