Best homestay in Mai Chau, located not too far from Lac village (the center of Mai Chau with all activities) so we could easily walk there but far enough so we could sleep quietly. Our bungalow is right in front of rice fields, with mountains behind, best view of the Vietnamese countryside. It’s cozy and clean as well with a private bathroom, we could sleep very well. The best part is to hear the noise of the fields during the night (cricket, frogs, birds, etc.). It was a really authentic experience. The homestay hosts were very nice and welcoming, the breakfasts were delicious and well garnished. We had an amazing stay and will be back here next time.

One of the best stays I had in Vietnam. This homestay is located in the ideal spot: you can reach many restaurants and shops by walk, but it is also rightly tucked away from all the noise. I recommend booking the king room with a view very early in advance, they have just one available, but the view from this room was fantastic! One could even open the windows, and the fresh air is really refreshing. Air conditioning worked well (it is needed if you travel from Feb to Oct), the days get quite warm. The private bathroom was good. Breakfast was bread, egg and fruit (banana). This is the standard breakfast that one would get at most of the homestays in Vietnam. I also had dinner here on both days of my stay. The food was excellent, fresh, and did not upset my stomach at all. The owner and the people living here are extremely friendly. Also, I suggest getting a bike on rent from them. That way, you do not need a deposit or passport and also, you could leave the bike back with them at the end. I also booked a bus with them to Ninh Binh, which was awesome and costed me 250k VND, which is lesser than what was being shown to me online. Overall, a great experience. Would definitely return here on my next trip to Mai Chau.

This is the ideal home stay for meeting people as a solo traveler. Not only is it an incredibly friendly, welcoming atmosphere but the staff themselves will get to know you. Vinh, the host, is a gem. I booked a tour with her and it was like spending the day with a good friend. She also helped arrange transportation and patiently helped other travelers with their itineraries, even beyond their time in Mai Chu. For a 35 solo traveler who wanted a social environment without rowdy partying, this was perfect. The space itself was nice, the location convenient…I recommended it to other travelers.

Staying at Meadow Mai Chau Homestay was the highlight of our entire trip in South East Asia. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left it was everything we had hoped for and more! There are so many great things about this homestay - the incredible views over the rice paddies, the wonderful fresh food every day (the best we ate in Vietnam, with so many great vegetarian options), and in the perfect location to explore Mai Chau (with bicycles on offer to use). But, one of the best parts about Meadow Mai Chau Homestay was the hospitality and care of Thuc, Phuong, and their family. You can tell how much they care about this homestay and every person that comes to stay with them in Mai Chau - they were so kind, so helpful, and we will remember our experience with them for a very long time :)

Lovely Pool and outside (but with a roof) seating area! Great food, dinner and breakfast! Very nice area to see the rice terraces, you can do some walks and trail runs directly from the property. Owner and staff are very nice Always turns on the fans directly when you sit down to get rid of the mosquito's.

Co and his family are lovely and welcoming! The room was great, the bed comfy and the shower was great as well. Co gave us sight seeing and restaurant recommendations and helped us book our transport back to Hanoi! Also the banana pancakes for breakfast are delicious! Highly recommend!
