The beach is also just 50 metres away, offering a variety of water-sports and nature tours. Auberge Burgundy Hotel and Spa was a perfect choice for our short stay in Hermanus. My wife and I loved how the property felt like a quiet corner of Tuscany, with warm colours and a relaxed atmosphere. The location couldn’t have been better, right in the heart of town and close to the water. The pool was excellent, a real highlight, and the staff were attentive throughout our stay. It’s exactly the kind of boutique hotel that makes a quick getaway feel special.

Besides the friendliness of the owner, she knows what luxury is and has eye for detail. We felt like kings and queens during our stay. The other staff members are also amazing, we were surprised by how clean and organised the rooms were after every cleaning. Definitely a place where we would return.

Everything about this well located guest house is excellent. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated. The host who checked me in was charming. The breakfast was delicious and perfectly cooked and there was plenty of options from the buffet table. There is a sparkling pool to cool off in and the gardens are picture perfect. The communication from the owner was prompt, giving direction before arrival, to dealing with all my requirements. If only everyone run there business like this it would be a pleasure to travel. I will definitely be using this guest house on all future visits to Cape Town. Can highly recommend.
