Easily accessible location. 5 min walk to Queen Victoria Market. (Private) room was clean and equipped with towels and toiletries. Seemed to have a lot of facilities that I didn’t check out (lounge with pool table, rooftop, etc.). They had a cook out on the roof top the night I came but I sadly did not join. They have daily activities such a trivia nights, etc.! P/S luggages can be stored for $3 on day of check in, and $10 on day of check out. Towels can be bought for $8 and hair dryers can be borrowed from the reception (just leave your ID)

Absolutely loved my stay here! The place is clean, cozy, and in a great location — everything is well maintained and has a really welcoming vibe. A special shoutout to Bella at the front desk — she was incredibly kind, helpful, and always had a smile on her face. She really made the whole experience feel personal and warm. Highly recommended. I’ll definitely be back!

I have experienced other hostels here in Melbourne, but this is my favorite, the building looks vintage but it is really beautiful, it has a nice bar and activities everyday so it helps if you want to meet new people. The beds are one of the best things here, because they are really comfortable, I always sleep well here! The staff is really nice and they clean everyday, you can ask for change your sheets and clean your room if you want it, thanks to the manager Migue as well for being really nice.

Our room was amazing! We had so much space (no bunk beds), a nice view and a working AC. The highlight was our own bathroom. It was clean and comfy. Everyday we had a social activity and it was easier to meet new people. Next to the reception was a guy who gave us information about booking tours and possible things to do in and around Melbourne.

It gives you everything you need when you stay in a hostel. It has a very social vibe, many communal space. I met many people on the rooftop. It also gives you privacy. Each floor has many private bathrooms, which include shower , toilet and sink so you can do all your things in a room, without minding other people. It is also one of very few hostels whose bunk bed has curtain… When I moved to Sydney, I can’t find any has curtain… I don’t know why it’s not a thing in Australia hostel. Most importantly, it offers decent free breakfast. It’s not common in other hostel here as well.. If I am only staying in one place for a few days, it’s really annoying to buy box of cereal and carina of milk which I won’t finish for sure. Last but not least, staff are very friendly and helpful! ;)

Location was good. Close to tram line. Lots of cafes near by. I only had one interaction with staff on check in and she was friendly. There was aircon and a fan in the room which helped with comfort levels on the really hot night I was there. Size of the room was good. Seems like quite a good place for backpackers and people wanting to meet new people as there are ample spaces to interact with others (at the pool table, the lounge area, the tables scattered around the hostel).

Great location . Comfortable double private room. I choose this backpackers for my 18 year old daughter who was travelling alone based on previous reviews that said it was ideal for solo travellers. She was able to meet people easily and said that both the staff and the quests were super friendly and she felt very safe. The party atmosphere helped 😃
