During my stay at Tanan Hostel, I experienced exceptional service from the staff that truly made my stay memorable. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly and friendly greeted, which immediately made me feel welcome. The staff members were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to ensure that I had everything I needed during my stay. One staff member, who helped me check in , stood out to me. She was always available to answer any questions I had and provide recommendations for things to do in the area. She went out of her way to make sure I was comfortable and had a great experience at the hostel. The entire staff at Tanan Hostel was attentive, professional, and genuinely cared about their guests' experience. The level of service I received exceeded my expectations, and I would highly recommend Tanan Hostel to my friends looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay in São Luís.

I enjoyed my stay here as it was quiet and the air conditioning kept the rooms nice and cold. When arriving make sure you punch in the number then turn the awkwardly high handle. Almost everyone had trouble getting in because they thought it was just the code. The staff and owner were very nice, welcoming, and I am grateful for their hospitality.

Sharp parts of tiles were falling from the floor, some tiles were missing. Rooms aren't well maintained and do not look like the pictures. Shower heater had exposed electrical cords which didn't felt very safe.

Clean and comfortable even though it’s on a very busy street I slept well.
