Excellent communication prior to arrival informing me of directions to get there and info about the Interlaken guest card they provide us with. Excellent facilities (big, well-equiped kitchen, plenty of lockers for storage, delicious breakfast, toilet in bedroom). Staff were all friendly and had good knowledge on things to do in the area. They seemed to have good systems in place for check in. Good location situated between the East and West train stations. Highly recommend!

Our 3 night stay at Sonnenberg Dormitory was simply unforgettable. The location is pure magic tucked away above Mürren with stunning views all around. Yes, there’s a little hike up from the village, but every step is rewarded tenfold once you arrive. Chris, our host, is one of the kindest souls we’ve met. We shared a beautiful last evening with him, gathered around delicious wine, cheese, and charcuterie, enjoying warm and genuine conversation. It felt like staying with an old friend. Fantastic breakfast selection of breads, cheeses, meat and pastries taken at the hotel attached. Helpful staff.
