It is located in a beautiful and safe area just in the North of Bogota. It is walking distance to many cafes and restaurants and a short taxi ride from Chapinero. The staff is very friendly and always helpful. I would definitely come back again!

Staff went above and beyond in the Cranky Croc. The breakfast (paid extra) was incredible and the bed was the comfiest in south America. I'd recommend it to anyone staying in Bogota. They also helped me arrange a transfer to the airport and I joined the walking tour led by Jacqueline which was very informative and interesting.

Bunk beds are double beds with lots of space, curtains and an overhead locker inside, a perfect configuration which they call "camarote". Showers have shampoo and soap available which is great for backpackers. A nice social area with integrated kitchen makes it easier to socialize with other travellers, though with Bogota climate I guess a good part of it is often under the rain and cold! Good location close to many bars.
