The perfect place to stay! Definitely deserving of all the amazing reviews they’ve received. Our private room was very nice and comfortable, the fans were perfect (AC wasn’t needed), and the shower had warm water. The hostel decor is amazing, and it has nice areas to sit in the courtyard. The kitchen was very large and organised, and had everything we needed to cook. Also this was the cleanest hostel I’ve ever stayed in, they was always a cleaner around cleaning some part of the hostel. Location was also perfect, short walk to everything but also in a quiet spot. Staff were all very friendly. 100% recommend staying here

I highly recommend visiting this place—Pablo, the owner, makes you feel right at home. The rooms are comfortable, the kitchen is well-equipped, and they offer free coffee. The facilities are being renovated, and the cleanliness is noticeable throughout. Plus, the natural surroundings draw you in, with two friendly pets and plenty of open spaces to enjoy a getaway from the city and breathe fresh air. It's my favorite spot in Puerto Viejo. I arrived as a guest and left as a friend.

Very welcoming check in Daniela charismatic women that work in the reception knows how to work with guests it seems like she is owner maybe but very humble and real. I need it a harder mattress for my back pain and with no problem they change my bed very helpful staff. With everything you need. Good position walking distance to the city many activities to do every day amazing back yard and very social place. You can see and feel that the owners take care of this place with love and affection. I definitely recommend this place 🙏pura vida

The Location right infront of the beach is a dream. Food was falvourful, local style. Big kitchen area with loads of Utensils. Alejandra the receptionist, gave me some plasters and anti bactieral water for some walking blisters I have. Then let me change bed. She went out of her way to help. Probably the nicest person I met in all of Costa Rica!! The Hostel is also close to a big supermarket. I would stay again!

The vibe, the community, the music, the creativity, the location (on the beach) and just close enough to walk or cycle into the main town and Playa Cocles also. The relaxed environment. Diversity of people that stayed there. Great if travelling with teens.

Beautiful and relaxing hostel in Puerto Viejo. Staff are super friendly and helpful. The rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. The hostel felt very safe too. There are hammocks to relax in and the outdoor kitchen is really well-equipped with everything you need.
