Genuine experience: we had a fantastic stay, and the host was incredibly kind and helpful. On our first night, he assisted us with the SMS verification for inDrive. On the last night, I accidentally left my jacket on the chair, and the host went above and beyond by sending it to us via GoBus Express while we were heading to Hurghada. He really did more than he had to. The price of $20+ per night is very reasonable and definitely worth it. It’s a great deal—no complaints at all.

If you want to feel like home, go there. Hassen and his crew will do their best to make you feel comfortable. They helped us to get delicious take away food and eat it at the hotel facilities. Do not hesitate to request them towels or soap for the room. The location is great in the city center, 10 minutes walking to Luxor temple, 15 minutes walking to Luxor museum and Nile corniche, 10 minutes from the train & bus station, 1 minute to the souk. Take into account that this central location also brings you the noisy streets full of life and traffic, similar to any other Egyptian city, so bring ear plugs if you are sensitive to the noise. The receptionist was very friendly and was always waiting for us, maintaining communication from the moment we arrived at the airport at 2AM. The hotel is situated in a good location for visiting Cairo. The mattress was very comfortable and the sheets were very clean.

The property is in a very calm and quite neighbourhood in west Luxor. The room was cosy, and the bathrooms were spotless. There is 24x7 availability of hot water. Ahmed, the host also picked me up and dropped me for no extra cost to and from the bus station while I was in Luxor. I was travelling solo and Ahmed rented his motorbike to me during the stay. I was able to go around Luxor with ease. By far this was a great experience for me. The location is very close to many attractions in west Luxor, hence it is easy to visit them from the homestay. Ahmed will also provide you with fresh locally made food on request. All in all, I highly recommend Magic Place and looking forward to saying once again.
