The breakfast is great! Staff are very helpful, even allowed us to keep our bags in our lockers after check-out since no one was coming in after us as an exception and trusted us with the keys for a few hours until it was time to catch our train back home. Although I believe it wouldn't be feasible for them to do this with everyone, we felt very grateful that they even gave us this option.

Beautiful, beautiful location (the all-window space lets you see the mountains and the sea) with friendly, helpful staff. There's no kitchen for guests but the restaurant food is delicious. (One of?) the owners has done many Caminos. This is a good option for a peregrino/a if you don't end up staying in Güemes--you can have a short walking day and have more time to spend in Santander.

Albergue Piedad has a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Boó de Piélagos. Located around 16 km from Puerto Chico, the hostel with free WiFi is also 16 km away from Santander Festival Palace.

Everything in the hostel is so clean and the staff are very lovely. I had an awesome time there, and were surprised the hostel was so pretty and clean the entire time.
