My stay at Arya Wellness was so great I ended up extending it for two more nights! From the nourishing and delicious breakfasts, to the free morning meditation and yoga sessions, afternoon massages and mani-pedi, to a variety of activities either at Arya Wellness or outside like the Mount Batur Sunrise hike, there is something for everyone and every budget! Traveling solo, I met so many other solo female travelers (it's refreshing mentally to stay at a female only hostel) who were kind, like-minded, curious but you also feel like you can have your own time as well relaxing by the beautiful pool. The location was also amazing, in the center of Ubud and therefore walking distance to a lot of sightseeings like the Money Forest, the temples, museum, small hikes taking you to the quieter side of the city and its rice fields, to the Art Market and of course with access to all of the shopping and restaurant scene Ubud has to offer! I kept recommending this place throughout my travel and did I mention most of the women staying there also ended uo extending their stay and/or come back during their Bali trip?!

The staff is really nice and friendly!! As a solo traveler they make you feel comfortable!! The beds are awesome, queen size beds. Toilets always clean! As far the best hostel I’ve ever been.

We had a great stay at Joni Ubud Hostel! The hostel is new, with modern and clean facilities, and it’s surrounded by beautiful rice fields. The location is peaceful, just about 10 minutes away from the busy center of Ubud. The staff were super friendly and helpful, and the owner was so kind – we really enjoyed chatting with him. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a quiet and beautiful place to stay near Ubud!

Everything!!! Stayed in female dorm. Nice clean room, large comfy bed, beautiful grounds with gorgeous swiming pool. Free yoga classes with option to do your own practice at other times. Daily free yumy breakfast, and free communal dinner once a week. This place was great, look forward to come back on my next trip.

I originally planned to stay at Kuna for just a couple of days during my solo trip… and ended up staying for over a week — that’s how amazing this place is! This is, without a doubt, the best hostel I’ve ever stayed in. The staff are absolutely lovely — warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything. A huge thank you to everyone working at Kuna — you made me feel like part of the family 🥹 Your kindness and support meant the world to me. The beds are spacious and super comfy, and the rooms and bathrooms were always clean and well-maintained. There’s also a bar with great food and drinks at very reasonable prices. The location couldn’t be better — just 5 minutes to the Monkey Forest and 1 minute to the nearest shop. As a bonus, we were offered free 15-minute massages, which were surprisingly amazing! Breakfast is included, with three delicious options to choose from every morning. Even if you don’t have a set plan, there’s always something fun to do here — the hostel organizes daily activities that make it easy to meet people and experience something new every day. I also met so many fellow backpackers from around the world — it was such a great community vibe. Whether you arrive solo or with friends, you’ll never feel alone here. For me, staying at Kuna wasn’t just about the place — it was about the people. It felt like home, and I’ll carry these memories with me forever. 💛

This is the best hostel I've ever slept in Bali. The hostel is incredible clean. You can see that the hostel has recently been renovated. A comfortable bed and a very good breakfast with fresh fruit. The hostel staff is incredibly nice. In a good location in the center of Ubud. 10/10 additional attraction are wonderful dogs;) I will come back here for sure.
