Everything was beyond my expectations. The hosts were incredibly caring and kind — they welcomed me warmly and answered all my questions with attention. Basit the hostel manager went beyond to arrange for a driver and communicate in English as middle person for my trips to Gulmarg and Pahalgam. He is reliable and responsible. The property is very reasonable for the price. The rooms and toilets are neat. The place in Raj Bagh is a 1km walk from Polo View market and 2.5km walk to Dal lake ghats.

I stayed here for 2 nights and wished I had booked for longer. It's such a beautiful hotel in a quiet part of town on the east of the lake. Everything about the room was first class; spacious, very clean, quiet, excellent bathroom and comfy bed. All the staff are immaculately behaved and I was made to feel very at home. The hotel helped me arrange day trips and travel to Pahalgam and I was given loads of ideas for trekking which I'll definitely take up when I stay again. I must also mention the delicious meals of dal fry and wazwan that were served up. I would recommend the hotel to anyone coming to Srinagar.

I enjoyed my stay at the hostel boat and found the service to be excellent. the room was clean and comfortable, and i highly recommend this place to others. The food 🍽️sounds delicious and I am glad it made me feel at home. The river view from the houseboat sounds spectacular, sunset⛅ view from the deck is mesmerizing and I am very 😀happy that i enjoyed it.

Great place to meet other travelers and organize common excursions to the surrounding villages and mountains. Staff is open and friendly and the food in the hostel restaurant is indeed very good (which I usually do not expect from hostel kitchens)
