The staff are lovely and really welcoming. The location is great with views of Fuji from the upstairs corridor and around the corner. We arrived in the dark so didn't see the mountain until we woke up and it was great. The lake is not far and the whole area is beautiful. Ks House is near 7eleven and another convenience store Lawson, so you can grab snacks or buy your own food to prepare in the hotel. There are restaurants nearby and the staff gave us tips for noce ones to try out. They serve fresh coffee in the morning which was delicious! You can trade your shoes for slippers on arrival so this is nice and respectful. We enjoyed sleeping on the tatami floor on futons and were warm and comfy. The bathrooms were always clean and there are also washing machines and dryers for use - for extra charge depending on length of stay. We were given a voucher to use the washer as we stayed a longer time. Another kind touch.

Everything was lovely. Very kind and attentive staff. Warm interior and large, relaxing lounge area. They also have a wonderful cafe next doors that I recommend. Chureito pagoda is a 20 min walk from the property. The popular fujiyoshinoda view with mt fuji is right outside the doorstep. Would stay again. Thank you :)
