We had such a great stay at Backpacker’s House Kamome! We were warmly welcomed by our host who was incredibly kind, always smiling, and really made us feel at home for a few days. As a backpacker herself, she knows exactly what travelers need — the dorm was comfy and really well thought-out, with little things like a multi-port USB adapter, hangers, and cleaning supplies. Plus, she’s always up for a chat, which made the experience even nicer. It’s about a 20-minute walk from the train station, but perfectly located just one minute from Sengen Shrine and the starting point of the Mt. Fuji trail from point zero.

best place ever - the most gorgeous view! wasted money on the mt fuji panorama rail. the view from the roof of the hostel was so much better! less than 1km from the best bakery (kimuraya) and rooms were very clean and comfy. great facilities could not recommend more
