The accommodation blends into the beautiful natural jungle and beach landscape and feels perfect for the setting. Be advised that it is a bit rustic but there's a shower and a flushing toilet and our bed was really comfortable. There are no plug points in the room but you can charge your devices in the dining area. A mosquito net is provided which was great as it meant we could leave the windows open for a cooling sea breeze at night. We were a stone's throw from the water but also surrounded by trees, it was magical. The staff were helpful and friendly but unobtrusive. The food is traditional Khmer cuisine and everything we had was delicious and made with a lot of care. There are also a few other resorts in the bay that serve different food styles. Sunset Beach is more remote than some of the other bays on the island and does not have a ferry port or really much other boat traffic making it perfect for swimming, paddling and snorkeling. This does mean that you have to hike in to the accommodation but it's completely manageable, just be sure to pack in a backpack rather than a suitcase or kit bag. All the pertinent information and directions are sent out in an email as soon as you book. This stands out as one of our best beach holidays, highly recommended.

What a lovely and peaceful place! Everything is so beautifully designed and decorated, staff is amazing. I immediately felt home. First of all, the location of this guesthouse is really exceptional, you'll find the most beautiful garden where you can watch the sunset and sip some excellent juices (big up to the banana and peanut butter smoothie 😋). We ate there one evening and the food was all excellent. We came for a short break on a island after a three month trip, we extended our stay by three more nights (and it wasn't enough) because we felt so good there, our hosts were so kind... we felt at home as soon as we arrived. This island has a magical energy and Tasha and Christen make this place even more magical, thanks to their welcome and their kindness.

The view from the hostel was so good. I loved snorkeling at the corals below. Such a nice vibe altogether in the place, could have stayed way longer.

Quiet and serene atmosphere. Friendly, warm staff! Good food and waking up by the sounds of birds! The owners is also a top bloke. The beds and the little houses we were sleeping in were also really comfortable.

The staff were so friendly and welcoming and the space is absolutely beautiful. There is so much land and it goes all the way down to the beach so you can sunbath without other people getting in the way. They have the cutest, most well behaved pets too who always love a cuddle. We will definitely be coming back in the future

Best hostel on Koh Rong. Super clean, beds are comfortable, the perfect spot on the island and such great vibes.
