If I had only tried a few hostels, you might think this is just another average review but I’ve been traveling the world for years and stayed in hundreds of hostels and this one, truly stands out. It’s not about being fancy or full of luxury. The facilities are simple, clean, and practical. Exactly what you’d expect for the price. But what makes this place extraordinary is the hospitality, warmth, and genuine care that the team puts into everything they do. Even the small moments show it. One evening at dinner, my plate came with mashed potatoes (which I don’t like). I asked for an empty plate just to separate the food, and while I thought the request had been forgotten, a staff member came back minutes later with a fresh serving of hot rice made just for me! Completely unasked for. That’s the level of thoughtfulness they put into their guests. And then there’s the magic of their special dinners. Every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday they cook something unique… a different dish every time, prepared with love and served not because they have to, but because they want us to connect, share, and feel at home. They don’t even eat with us; it’s all about creating a space where travelers can gather and build friendships. It’s rare to find a hostel with this much heart and soul. Honestly, it feels less like a hostel and more like a family. The only downside? It’s becoming harder to find a bed because everyone wants to stay here! So if you see availability, don’t hesitate! I love the energy of the hostel. It's a good place to meet people, hang out and chill. The breakfast is amazing and the staff are awesome. The beds are very comfortable. Anything you need is in casa verde. I wouldn't stay anywhere else.

Great little hostel, private rooms are separate to rest of hostel so much quieter if looking to kick back. Really friendly staff and delicious breakfast. Great location near night markets.
