I really enjoyed my stay. The owner and the staff are very nice and helpful. The owner organizes trips to the surrounding sights at fair prices. The food is delicious. There are very good storage and locking options for valuables and backpacks in the room. You can also use the pool from the hotel.

We had the loveliest stay at the treehouse; it was a child's dream come true. It is furnished with such care and attention to detail, and we loved everything about it. It even has a fan and a hairdryer. The bathroom is also part of the treehouse and features a warm water shower. It is nestled in nature, surrounded by all the natural sounds you could imagine. The welcome at the homestay was so warm, from the cup of tea to the best fried rice we’ve had in Sri Lanka so far. We wish you and your family all the best.

Honestly one of the best hostels I’ve stayed at during my time in Sri Lanka. The place is clean and comfortable, breakfast was always delicious, and the one dinner I had there turned out to be the best meal of my trip — tasty, generous, and great quality. What really made it special was the people. Maliya was so kind and helpful, always there if I needed anything. He even took me to a beautiful sunset spot nearby and walked me to the bus stop when I checked out. Those small gestures really meant a lot and made the stay unforgettable. Highly recommend this place!

We stayed here as a group of friends and honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The host was incredible – he ordered and organised things for us, gave us loads of tips about the local area, and even went above and beyond when my friend left her bag at a bus stop. He actually tracked it down and drove it back to us! His whole family were so kind and welcoming, which made us feel completely at home. Breakfast was amazing every morning, and the beds were huge double bunks, super comfy after a long day exploring. Just about the closest you can stay to the Sigiriya lion rock (you should get there at 5am to beat the crowds and an amazing sunrise). The owner gave me awesome personalized recommendations. Lined up a safari where I saw maybe 30 wild elephants. So many babies. Looks newly remodeled and very clean. Perfectly clean sheets and towels. Attention to detail. Large nice bathroom. Good local in house breakfast. Very relaxed town, close to easily walkable restaurants. I suggest the train here from Colombo 4$ second class. A perfect stay thanks to the super knowledgeable local host. Thank you
