Beautiful house, small with only two rooms, cute little outdoor area, very calm and relaxing. The ocean is nearby. As I only stayed one night, I didn’t go there. If you have a scooter or TukTuk you can park inside. Staff is very friendly!!

This is really good hostel. Nice clean rooms. We lived in a common room: the fan, lamp, sockets are all working properly and work on each bed. The common living room is cozy. In the common kitchen there are dishes, a stove, a refrigerator, and drinking water. The hostel has a laundry service.

The staffs are just so fantastic. I was super confused with the airport highway bus and one of the staff came all the way with me to help and check if I'm taking the right bus😭 And they always come to ask you if you need anything. The room is hotel quality, felt really safe in the hostel too. Location is great, you can easily get to the Galle fort on foot or by tuktuks. Highly recommend it!

The hospitality of this family was just incredible. From the first meeting with them, I felt totally welcome and their kind attitude made my stay extremely comfortable. I know what I'm talking about because I had stayed in places where I didn't feel that much welcome but this just simply wasn't the case. Sanithu homestay is pretty close to Galle as well as to Bara beach which is less crowded and really beautiful. The WiFi in the homestay was surprisingly good and I was able to teach some online classes without any trouble. I also liked the mattress and I had a very comfortable sleep. There was a mosquito net that kept me safe from the mosquitos and I don't think I got a single mosquito bite there. The bathroom was also really clean and also liked their garden and their cute rabbit too. One thing I should also mention was the food because Champi cooked delicious, budget-friendly meals which were also really healthy and which I enjoyed a lot so I definitely reccommend eating there.

One of the best hostels I’ve stayed at so far. Pinidu is an amazing host who always makes sure you have an amazing stay. He also makes an amazing breakfast! His garden is beautiful, and the location is close to all the things in Galle. Overal, I very much enjoyed my stay and would stay there again.

This is a very special place 😊 We remember him with warmth ☺️ It's a very fun and relaxed environment. A wonderful family that accepts you as one of their own. The wonderful garden provides an excellent opportunity to observe animals: squirrels, lizards, mongooses. And very tasty food. Especially the biryani.😋 Ocean across the road. Beautiful property, comfortable room, very good shower, and the most warm welcome from Bibi (I am not sure i wrote the name right). Also perfect location, quite near the center but still calm area, we really enjoyed watching different types of birds coming to the trees around the balcony. Amazing place, we are for sure coming back!

Very nice people! They help you with traintimes and tuktuks. The location is good, 10 min from fort and 5 min from a supermatket. The hostel isn't the cleanest but what do you expect for such a price.

Well set in Galle, The Fort Library Hostel provides an Asian breakfast and free WiFi.

The hostel was immaculate, the air con was nice and strong and most importantly the owner was incredible. A group of us quickly became friends and whenever we needed anything the owner went out of his way to help us. We thoroughly enjoyed spending time with him. What a hidden gem in a beautiful area. As a woman, I felt very safe and the owners also take into account measures to explicitly make female traveller's feel safe. I can't reccomend this place enough!
