I loved my stay here! Everything was amazing from the facilities to the staff who were so kind and helpful. The grounds of the hostel are so calm and peaceful which makes for a very relaxing stay. The beds are comfortable and the rooms and bathrooms are large and clean! While the hostel is a little out of the center of Unawatuna, it is no problem getting there either by walking or by tuk tuk.

It was very well located, close to a big store and to surf schools. Hansi was so kind and helpful, she also took me to around for one night. The whole place is really big and comfortable, the kitchen is very well equipped and clean. If it wasn’t too hot, I’d have stayed for longer, I’ve booked for 19 nights there but the hotness was unbearable, the hostel kindly reimbursed the 17 nights, such a relief for me. I’d suggest to go there during high season because I was there in mid August and no one was there, it might feel lonely.

Lovely reggae bar, good food and drinks only 10 mins in a tuk tuk to Galle. Great value for money!!! Amazing views to the beach ☺️

The location was perfect, right near the main public transport terminals in Galle. Having been away from SL for quite a few years, it was exceptionally easy to find. The food was amazing, I had been craving Sri Lankan food the whole journey down and the food at the Sydney hotel (linked to the snooze station) really hit the spot. The staff were incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable. Assisting me in finding my way around and recommendations. I think I have found my place to stay whenever I make it to Galle!

The hospitality of this family was just incredible. From the first meeting with them, I felt totally welcome and their kind attitude made my stay extremely comfortable. I know what I'm talking about because I had stayed in places where I didn't feel that much welcome but this just simply wasn't the case. Sanithu homestay is pretty close to Galle as well as to Bara beach which is less crowded and really beautiful. The WiFi in the homestay was surprisingly good and I was able to teach some online classes without any trouble. I also liked the mattress and I had a very comfortable sleep. There was a mosquito net that kept me safe from the mosquitos and I don't think I got a single mosquito bite there. The bathroom was also really clean and also liked their garden and their cute rabbit too. One thing I should also mention was the food because Champi cooked delicious, budget-friendly meals which were also really healthy and which I enjoyed a lot so I definitely reccommend eating there.

Great place to stay. Room was nice and big, had a garden view. Bathroom was nice. Hot water available. The owner was very nice and accommodating. The dog is very cute too. It's about a 20 minute walk from the train station. Tuktuk costs about 200 lkr.

Great location for exploring Galle. The hostel has everything you would need. The beds are comfy, good A/C, very big common area. The hosts were also very nice and helpful if we had any questions.

Well set in Galle, The Fort Library Hostel provides an Asian breakfast and free WiFi.

The hostel was immaculate, the air con was nice and strong and most importantly the owner was incredible. A group of us quickly became friends and whenever we needed anything the owner went out of his way to help us. We thoroughly enjoyed spending time with him. What a hidden gem in a beautiful area. As a woman, I felt very safe and the owners also take into account measures to explicitly make female traveller's feel safe. I can't reccomend this place enough!
