JJ's is a phenomenal hostel. It's a relatively big hostel, but the facilities are super clean and comfortable, and the wifi is great. There is also a fantastic vibe at the place (also partly due to the size) so there are always people around who are up for doing something fun. The volunteers are also great and really add to the place - there is yoga every morning and at least 1x group activity organised every day. Merissa is also a perfect place to base yourself if you want to visit other beaches along the coast. I would highly recommend!

My friend and I loved our stay here so much so that we extended for an extra 4 nights. It is a super comfortable and homely space. The breakfast is amazing and it differs day to day which is as great. The staff were AMAZING - we spent time over meals getting to know them and their families. There is an outside area with plugs and a hammock to work at as well as the breakfast area. It’s super close to the secret beach and within walking distance to shops and restaurants. We loved it here and really didn’t want to leave!

The hotel was amazing. The jungle vibes were awesome and it felt really private. We enjoyed the outdoor bath a lot. The Petti Petti restaurant had a lovely pool just couple of steps away with beach access. Also some good restaurants were near the hotel. Lovely stay.
