I stayed at Go Yala Hostel for one night before my Yala safari, and it was an excellent choice. The hostel is very clean, comfortable, and surrounded by real village and farm views, which makes the stay peaceful and authentic. The dorm beds were comfortable, the A/C worked well, and there are nice common areas to relax. The biggest highlight was the sharing Yala safari arranged directly by the hostel. It was well organized, affordable, and the jeep and guide were very professional. Everything was smooth from pickup to drop-off. The eco kitchen experience and local food were a nice bonus and felt very genuine. The staff were friendly, helpful, and always smiling. If you’re a backpacker or budget traveler visiting Yala National Park, this hostel is perfect. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Tissamaharama.

The place was amazing and beyond my expectations. They also helped me to arrange my safari; and I have the best time ever!!! The people that work there, the kindest. The private room was really comfy, big and with everything that I need (good and proper own toilet, fan, big bed and a terrace). I also had dinner there and I really enjoyed it.

The proximity to the beach was a huge plus, allowing me to enjoy the soothing sound of the waves throughout my stay. The staff members were incredibly friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with a warm smile. One of the highlights of my trip was the Yala safari organized by the hotel. The experience was truly unforgettable, and the convenience of having it arranged by the hostel made the adventure even more enjoyable. Additionally, the food offered at the hostel was beyond delicious, satisfying my taste buds with a variety of delectable dishes. Overall, I can't speak highly enough of Hamba Hostel for Safari. It's the perfect blend of comfort, tranquility, beachside charm, attentive staff, exciting safari opportunities, and mouthwatering cuisine. My stay was an absolute delight, and I can't wait to return for another unforgettable experience!

Pradeep is an amazing host. We had great conversations with him and learned a lot. If you want to visit Yala National park, this is your place to stay. He offers a great tour at a fair price, just hit him up and he’ll have you covered. Hostel has a nice layout. Everything is within walking distance
