The location is great and the hostel has a beautiful sea view. The beach is right in front of you which is a great spot for surfing. The staff were very friendly and helped us with any questions we had during our stay. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Definitely a good place to stay in the Weligama area!

Bebe Peak is a very modern and clean B&B. Our double room was massive with a comfortable bed and hot shower. A nice western breakfast was prepared in the morning by our host. It is located 10 minutes drive outside Weligama - not in the centre so you cannot easily walk. A nice quiet location for a good night's sleep. A big thanks to host Alan for his warm hospitality. He was super friendly and extremely helpful during our stay. Alan also sorted a tuk tuk for us at a reasonable rate from the next door neighbour.

Great friendly place who kindly let us check in early and stay in the room the next day until our train, which was much appreciated. Clean room, good hot shower, good air conditioning, quiet location but just 5 minutes from the beach and close to several nice eateries. Fridge and kitchen area available. Lovely relaxed and welcoming vibe.

The star eyes hostel it’s an amazing place to stay in Weligama. It’s a big villa, very clean and peaceful. A good place relax after a long day. Has also a cafe shop and a many places to hang out in. Ishan the manager it’s a great guy, helping you if you need anything. Overall a great experience.

Firstly the hostel looks different than the pictures, in a good way. They did lots of renovation after the available pictures on Booking. The general atmosphere is like a cool cafe. It is a very comfortable and clean hostel with twin-size bunk beds. The owners are super nice and friendly. They have ping pong tournaments every Friday night and open mic every Tuesday night. I was there at the ping pong tournament and it was so much fun with the excellent presentation of Justin! Such a high-energy person The location is called Midigama, in the middle of Ahangama and Weligama. It’s easy to cycle around (they have two cycles for the guest to use) or catch a local bus (they pass every few minutes in both directions) or a tuk-tuk, or you can rent a motorbike to reach the nearby places. There is a surf spot within walking distance (and there are few shops around to rent a surfboard, I haven’t seen any schools though)
