Everything was great. The staff were so kind, welcoming, helpful and accommodating. Bed was comfortable. Wifi worked well. The pool was a great addition. Breakfast was delicious Jimmy, the owner was so kind to explain everything and kind enough to bring us to enjoy the night at the bar with live music. It was great to be the first Indonesian who stayed at his hotel. Definitely great two nights with worth value of money spent. Will come back again hopefully one day!

The best hostel I have ever stayed in and I’ve stayed in hostels all over the world. The facilities were kept beyond clean, the whole place had a great vibe to it from the more upbeat bar/pool area to the chill relaxation zone. They had so many different activities to participate in everyday. The staff were incredible too, the bar served delicious cocktails and food. The pool was massive and nice and refreshing. There was a heap of places around the pool and bar to sit as well. The hostel was very social with lots of games at the bar to play. The bar was quite loud at night but we were given earplugs for the night we weren’t a part of the party which worked a treat. It was extremely safe and secure with a security guard and locked access to the dorms. It was close to lots of restaurants and about a 10min walk to the main part of town and a 10-15 min drive to the beach!

Exceptional Stay – Truly a Hidden Gem in Tulum! 🌴🌟 I had an amazing time at Maui Hostel! From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel right at home. Everyone was super friendly, helpful, and full of great recommendations for exploring Tulum. The vibe is relaxed and social, perfect for meeting fellow travelers without feeling like a wild party hostel. The rooms and common areas were immaculately clean and well-maintained. The beds were super comfortable with privacy curtains and personal lockers – ideal for getting a good night's sleep. The air conditioning was a lifesaver after hot days out. What really sets Maui Hostel apart is the atmosphere – chill but fun. The rooftop is a perfect spot to unwind with a drink or catch sunset. They also offer bike rentals, which made it super easy to get to the beach and around town. I’ve stayed in hostels all over the world, and Maui is definitely one of my favorites. It has the perfect balance of comfort, community, and location. Can’t recommend it enough – wish I could’ve stayed longer!

Looking for a hostel?

Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Honestly one of the best hostels I’ve stayed in Mexico during my 2-month trip! Everything was really clean, the rooms were really spacious, nice and with AC. The bathrooms and showers were also clean. Staff was really really friendly. I had the breakfast for only 5USD and it was AMAZING! There were so many activities everyday, I did the 8AM yoga and was really nice. I definitely recommend!

Great dorms, first time solo travelling in a hostel. Felt very comfortable and safe. Felt private in the beds, nice and comfortable. Toilets and bathroom were clean. Whole building well maintained. Beautiful common rooms. Good breakfast deal, cheaper than most places. Events were plentiful and organised well to socialise and explore Tulum.
