+ the air con was very effective + the staff (including their lovely kiddos) were very kind and helpful + the laundry service was quick and effective + the food at the restaurant was awesome and large portions + lovely atmosphere + the staff helped us when our tour was running behind and called the company for us (we had booked this ourselves not through them)

Whilst my stay at L’Artista was brief, it was definitely one of the nicest and most comfortable stays during my time in the Philippines. The beds were super comfy, 2 pillows were provided, and everything was incredibly clean and well kept. The staff were incredibly kind and went above and beyond to make me feel included and cared for.

At first, we chose to stay here because of its proximity to the airport, but it ended up far exceeding our expectations! We booked the smallest room, so its size didn’t come as a surprise—in fact, everything matched the description and photos in the listing. It was more than enough for a one-night stay. As for the property itself, it was incredibly clean and well organized. We were able to use the common area to work on our laptops and take advantage of the excellent Wi-Fi. Drinking water, dishes, and a refrigerator are also available for guests. But what truly stood out during our stay was the care, kindness, attentiveness, and attention to detail shown by Christine and her team. They genuinely think of everything—not only providing helpful information about the city, activities, and recommendations, but even informing guests about the occasional power outages in the area (which, fortunately, we didn’t experience). If we ever return to Puerto Princesa, we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Maraming salamat po!

Clean and spacious room. Staff was amazing! Showers had nice warm water. We requested a late check-in, and our flight ended up being delayed 2 hours and we only got in at around 1 AM. The WhatsApp contact was very responsive and assured us someone will wait to check us in. When we arrived the staff was very nice and checked us in even though it was very late. They also helped get as a ride the next day.

Hostel new and have great new amenities,10 mins walking from centre but easily manageable. Rooms are dark so it keeps cool air in the room. If you want cheap nice room this is place to choose it from for short stop to El NIdo.
