This hostel was my home away from home on my San Francisco trip for 10 nights. The atmosphere was really friendly, and it was easy to make friends with my fellow backpackers. The staff was also very friendly and helpful, and I was very impressed with my hostel experience overall! I highly recommend anyone to stay here if they want to feel at home when they travel!

The location is perfect, the staff super friendly, extremely quiet so no noise at all even when I stayed at the business pod which was fantastic. Fast wi-fi, toilets and showers available all the time, never had to wait a minute, public transportation one block away. Definitely coming back!

Very comfortable beds, very nice privacy design in the dorm. Each bunk had a small shelf and charging port next the the bed. Big storage lockers. The 4 bed bunk room also had its own toilet and bathroom which is also nice for a hostel. Everything was clean, very nice modern design, nice lighting and heating.

My experience at Green Tortoise has always been amazing. The room was spotless clean .... I mean SPOTLESS clean !!! Bed was very comfortable. Modern furniture. Excellent location. Hotel is safe. Shared bathroom (separate shower and toilet) was clean. Towels are provided and changed everyday.
