The staff are very nice except for the white lady who did not care to get a key for the one room that was allocated to us. We slept for two days without a key, which is scary considering that Melville is one of the hot spots area in Johannesburg.

Amazing location, beautiful people. The staff was really helpful and the jazz night was brilliant. Great hostel in the center of Joburg. Definitely recommend it, and if you go try chef food, definitely worth it.
