The place has a calm vibe, a nice chill-out area, a clean and spacious bathroom, and two very friendly owners — Dion and Christian, who made me feel welcome from the first day. Also, bonus points for the ginger cat who guards the place like a furry little king. Definitely a spot with soul.

Great value for money, it's good everything you want and need when travelling as a backpacker. The breakfast is a nice vibe too, everyone eats together in the kitchen where Julie cooks it. Julie even woke up early to make us some sandwiches to take away as breakfast to make sure we still got some food when we had to check out early to go up to Theth. Such a sweetheart.

Card payment was accepted, the room was huge so even I booked 10 beds dorm room, there are so many spaces, which was quite nice. The locker was huge that my 60L backpack could fit, and key was provided. And they have A/C, so I didn’t feel cold at night. The breakfast was awesome, selection from a croissant or omelette and some vegetables.

The staff were so amazing, really truly understand hospitality and bringing people together, they provide such an incredible social space with the garden, and encourage a friendly space where you can meet everyone in house. They take care of everything you need for your stay, airport transfer, hiking tours, river day trips, winery visits, advice on where to buy things you need. Couldn't have asked for a better trip.
