I loved the location, close to both Copacabana and Ipanema, surrounded by great restaurants, markets, stores, exchange offices, everything you need. The activities at the hostel were always fun, the bartenders were awesome, and the dance teacher Camilo was amazing. Special shout-out to their tour guide Lari, who organized incredible free tours, always shared great information, took amazing photos, and even taught some Portuguese for free. I highly recommend staying here!

Guests at Bamboo Rio Hostel can take a dip or enjoy a beer by the outdoor pool. They can also relax in the outdoor lounge and observe the monkeys in the nearby trees. Bike rental is available. It was perfect! Very nice social hostel and nice staff. Jeronimo was the man!

The nicest and most welcoming people! Seriously the best staff :) Very clean hostel, 3 bathrooms, nice social area, good energy, good wifi! And the location…!!! So close to everything (bus stop, beaches, good resfaurants) but in a calm area. I can ONLY recommend it!!
