Great location, right in between both train stations, close to food and restaurants was quite clean, kitchen area was very well equipped and great common area. Breakfast in the morning was good as well and staff were very helpful.

Featuring a shared bathroom with a shower and a hairdryer, rooms at Walters Hostel Interlaken also offer a mountain view. Guest rooms include a safety deposit box. We had a great time here. The house is very cozy, comfortable and it is very close to the pier. The host is very friendly and he helped us a lot. If we have the opportunity to return to Interlaken, we would love to stay at Walters hostel again. Highly recommend everyone to choose this location as a place to rest.

The family-friendly Backpackers Villa in Interlaken, in the heart of the Bernese Oberland, offers simple yet stylish rooms that are individually decorated. Free WiFi is available in all areas of the property. If i could rate more than 10, I would! Perfect location in the middle of Interlaken Ost and Interlaken West stations. The place is beautiful, lovely views all around. Big enough to have space for yourself even if staying in a hostel. They have a lounge area, 3 dining areas, a mess hall, big kitchen to cook meals (they provide supplies, spices and condiments, mind you!), a garden, a laundry room (10 chf only), and a playroom. Everything in this hostel was well thought of. Rooms are cozy even if sharing with others. The staff are the most lovely and accomodating people I have ever met. They also have amenities that goes way well above and beyond and very much appreciated - free breakfast, you can borrow snow shoes, day lockers for use before check in and after check out time, free transport card around Interlaken, and free postcards that you can mail to your loved ones for a minimal fee! This place is the best place to stay in Interlaken, I didn't want to leave. Definitely coming back.

It is all in attention to small details. My husband got a lot of care from the staff on his birthday. But even besides this occasion they were very very friendly!
