Pua vaenga
Hanga Roa
All rooms are fitted with a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, fridge, a kettle, a shower and a wardrobe. The hostel provides some units with sea views, and the rooms are fitted with a patio. All units will provide guests with a dishwasher. Lovely place would of loved to stay longer. Family run place super friendly. They will rent you a car or arrange trips. They picked me up from the airport and dropping me off.
La casa del Kori

Kori is a very kind, welcoming and attentive host. I felt very well taken care of. He was always there to help answer any questions, make tour reservations or simply to chat and give some tips about the island. All in all the atmosphere in the house is very family-like and friendly.
The house is very spacious and is located 10 minutes walk away from the Hanga Roa center where you can find all the restaurants, shops and the town beach. Everything is kept clean and tidy. Included breakfast is simple but decent enough to kick-off your day.
Small things you find at La Casa del Kori that every traveller will appreciate:

- plenty of storage space in the rooms, so you don't have to keep everything in your suitcase/backpack

Hostal y Cabañas Aorangi
Hanga Roa
Located in Hanga Roa, 1.2 km from Pea, Hostal y Cabañas Aorangi provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. Among the facilities at this property are a shared kitchen and a tour desk, along with free WiFi throughout the property. The hostel features family rooms. Lovely basic accommodation in a quiet area of town. I don't do fancy places on islands so this was perfect. Clean with a full shared kitchen. Very comfy bed. Three mins walk to main street with car rental at the bottom of the street. The host was lovely even though he spoke minimal English, but we got by with Google translator. They collect you from the airport with the traditional flower garland and drop you back there with the gift of a necklace. Would definitely recommend it for a great price .

This hotel is charming! The attention to detail is just right and the staff has such a great vibe. As a solo traveler I felt very whole and safe staying here. The rooms are spacious with excellent air conditioning. The food is generous and overall the hotel has a homey vibe which is what I loved the most. Cat also was great <3 the girls who picked me up at the airport with a flower necklace were a treat and it kick started my holiday on a great note. Congratulations and thank you !!!

Our host was absolutely fantastic - super friendly, helpful, and ended up being our (mandatory) guide to visit the moai which was much cheaper than another guide. They help you organise anything you need and you are picked up (for free) from the airport and also dropped off. The rooms are very comfy, mine had a balcony which was lovely. Price is good considering the expense of being on the island. You could pay cash or card.

Cannot recommend Pua Vaenga more! Bea was a wonderful host, she picked us up from the airport with beautiful flower necklaces. She was amazing from start to finish- was always there when we needed, and took us on an excellent (and really reasonably priced) tour! We learned so much about the Island and it's history, and also got an included beach trip. The hostel itself is lovely, the beds are super comfy and it's kept spotlessly clean. Great location to wander around Hanga Roa. Clean, older facility. Good breakfast. Staff very helpful and positive. Room good size, clean, shower good, beds comfy. Tour desk at hotel was very good.

Amazing ocean front view. Spacious comfortable 5 bed dorm with multiple bathrooms and fully equipped kitchen, dedicated to the room. All staff were lovely, felt welcome, safe and cared for. Good washing service and transfer to and from airport.

Ita, the hostel owner is the best😎 funny, helpful, interested and suuuper friendly! He knows everyone by name! One of the best hostels I've been so far. Really easy to socialize. Felt welcome.

The kindness of the staff was from another world! My experience in the Easter Island would have not been as great as it was without the staff at this hostel. I highly recommend this place for everyone! As a solo female traveller I felt safe.
