The rooms are clean and as described. Value for money. Best part of our stay was the host, David. He can speak good English and guided us on exploring local sights in guilin, finding vegetarian food and helped us to book li river cruise with hotel pickup and best possible seats. Prices are lesser than online platforms like trip and booking so you can confidently book with him. He can book everything in guilin. David was always available on WhatsApp and wechat or calling to help us if needed. As a foreigner who can't speak Chinese, we couldn't ask for anything more.

The location was great with the nice scenery that can be seen right from the apartment. It is also close to West Street which is a good location to stroll at night. Other travellers there are very friendly and sociable, hence I managed to interact with people from different nationalities.

The owners were incredibly helpful and spoke great English. It's in a good location, on bus routes to the city centre and one of the train stations. I would definitely stay there again if/when I return to Guilin.

It was recommended as a good hostel by a Chinese travel club, so I booked it thinking it was like an average hostel, but the facilities were unexpectedly good. It was just a hostel because there was a dormitory, but the room was as big as any hotel, the ceiling was high, and the bed was good, and I was really surprised. And on the ceiling, there's a chandelier.. Wow! There was a chair in the garden, so it was good to relax. The location was close to the river and it was nice to get to the road between the rice paddies and fields without cars. The staff were all kind. In particular, I would like to thank Limin for catching a taxi cheaply and helping me with the embarrassing situation I experienced at my next lodging. With personnel who can communicate in various languages such as English, Italian, French, and Spanish, Eden Inn has no doubt that it will establish itself as a popular accommodation for foreigners with its strong competitiveness.

Everything! My room (2012) was fantastic. Comfy bed, nice decoration, private bathroom... The location was also superb, just in town, in a quiet semi-pedestrian street. And the staff were even better. They helped me with everything I needed - booking tourist attractions, lending me their own bicycle because I was late for the theatre, answering all my questions about the country... Ah, and free laundry. THANK YOU!

Nice location. Staff are so friendly and helped us plan our trip. Cost-effective. There is a bar and a room where you can hang out with your friends. A lot of visitors are internationals so maybe you get to meet diverse range of people.

Excellent hostel - we had a private room for 4 nights with shower, very clean and comfy. The hostel is located a few minutes walk from North train station and about 15 mins by taxi from the city centre and tourist attractions for about 20 RMB on Didi. There are many restaurants and shops nearby. There is a washing machine on-site with space to dry for only 5 yuan. The hostel is run by Fiona who is a wee legend - very helpful for everything including booking excursions and providing an excellent breakfast. Highly recommended for a stay in Guilin.

The place was clean and light, though not too busy given the time of year (March). Most impressive was the host who was incredibly welcoming and helpful, offering to help wherever she could. A wonderful addition to my stay in Xingping!
