For the dormitories, a shared bathroom is fitted with shower. The hotel was located in a good area, lots of shops, restaurants, groceries. Not far from the historic center. There was a restaurant on the ground floor where you could sit comfortably, the price and quality were in line. The room was smaller but we didn't miss anything.

It has a gaming zone, a nice café, and everything nearby. But the best part is the people – thanks to Sui Nan, I felt that in China everyone knows how to love and care, no matter your religion, race, or country. I will always see Sui Nan as my friend, and I strongly recommend all tourists to stay at Happy Bear Youth Hostel. It’s not just a place to sleep – it feels like home.

Owned by a talented flower artist, Peking Youth Hostel is housed in a traditional Chinese building located along the lively Nanluogu Xiang, one of the famous Hutongs in downtown Beijing. A short 5-minute stroll from Houhai bar area, the hostel features a charming garden and colourful rooms with air conditioning. Free WiFi is available in all areas. Everything is pretty clean, there are free lockers in the rooms, a good common space where I was able to meet some really cool people and explore Beijing together. The location is also amazing, pretty much every main tourist attraction is within walking distance.

The accommodation features a 24-hour front desk, a tour desk and currency exchange for guests. It was clean and nice and convenient to the train station. It was also near to the lama temple and the small roads with many interesting shops on the opposite side of the road (hutongs). The owners were very nice in helping me get accommodated but also helped me settle my SIM card and also I also lost my phone when I already checked out and wanted to leave. So they helped me to get back my phone! I also left behind a bag and helped me keep it a few days after I left.

I had a lovely stay at this hostel. The room was very clean and minimal, but had all the essentials I needed for a comfortable stay. The staff were kind and went out of their way to help, I really appreciated their support. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting the city.
